Step-by-Step Application Process
Complete Required Qualifications
Finish both CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management) and CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice through an ASQA-registered RTO.
Obtain National Police Check
Get a National Police Check from an accredited provider. The check must be less than 3 months old when you submit your application.
Gather Required Documents
Collect your qualification certificates, proof of identity (driver's license, passport), character references, and any work history documentation.
Submit Online Application
Apply via the Consumer Affairs Victoria online portal. Upload all required documents and pay the $820 license fee (covers 3 years).
Character Assessment
CAV will review your application, conduct background checks, and assess your character and fitness to hold a license.
Receive License
Once approved, you'll receive your Full Estate Agent License certificate. You can then legally operate as an agency principal in Victoria.
